Best practice when creating goals for stuttering therapy is to work with the individual to create the goals. This resource was created to support SLPs in exploring ideas for treatment goals. The resource contains many examples and templates for creating rubrics with a stuttering-affirming treatment approach. Please use your clinical knowledge and judgement to create rubrics that are best suited for treatment for the individual you are working with. This resource also contains explanations and information for SLPs to serve as a guide for creating stuttering treatment rubrics. Additionally, many visuals can be used when explaining rubric creation/scoring to parents and caregivers. The rubrics are printable and editable. Microsoft PowerPoint is required to use editable rubrics.
